Summary

The Cairteail, or cairteal-fuil, is a term used in the realms of Lavantia to refer to someone who has a quarter of alfar blood, usually from the unions of a human and a lerith or two cairteails. They can also stem from a lineage that contain quarter-alfar descendants, who maintain such lineages on purpose or not intentionally. Cairteails are referred to as mostly human in human-dominant societies, although their nature can be discovered.
Cairteails treatment in human-dominated societies are much more varied, with many simply be seen as another member of their society even if their nature is known. Adakin in particular are quite known to be welcoming to Cairteails, and Leriths are welcoming of Cairteails as well.
