Forest elf

The forest elfs are living in thira, the village is located in the magical forest of omisla, a strong natural mana zone. They are skilled hunters and gatherers, which never takes anything from the nature without helping the forest. If someone is getting lost in the forest, they will never show up alive again because the elfs are silent and invisible hunters, which can move fast through the forest. They undergo a hard hunting training since childhood to be able to get to that level. They are not physical strong, which gives them a disadvantage in a direct battle. They need to compensate it through agility, magic and being not in a direct fight but ambush and abduct or kill everything which is getting lost in the forest to protect the nature and the village itself. The village dont need much protection because thira is getting protected from the natural magical barrier which gets produced through the strong natural mana in the forest. They also are spirtually strong connected to the god of nature thirus, which also gives them protection. Some of the elfs believe the barrier is not produced from the natural mana but from the god itself to protect the elfs.

Culture

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

The first big ritualic tradition is on the age of 16 years for the elf children when they are recieving the mark of nature from the god of nature thirus thorugh the druides. Another big ritualic tradition of the forest elfs is the first night after a marriage where they are holding a ritual to bless the children before the sex.   The most known tradition of the forest elfs is that they are helping each other out if one is in trouble and that they are living with the nature. Helping the nature out when they are taking anything from it.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

A Forest elf is seen as beautiful when they have a light green tan on their skin and a more greenish ear than other elfs.

Gender Ideals

It is beliefed that the fighting, protecting, hunting must be done from the male elfs of the village. The observation, medical care, child care must be done from the females of the vilage. Some of the elfs are completly breaking the ideals of gender roles but one thing will most likely never change, druids can just be males.

Relationship Ideals

A romantic relationship is the most intim type of relationship and must be treasured and protected at all costs. Betray the trust of the person you married and you get expelled out of the village and loosing the mark of nature. The elfs are beliefing that a relationship is something sacred what must not be broken ever.

Major organizations

The forest elfs are having a few major organisations in their village allthough they dont see it as a organisation in that family style of living.   The druide circle: A very small circle of the most oldest forest elfs in the village, providing children the mark of nature of the god of nature as a vessel and having the strongest spiritual connection to the god of nature thirus.   The mana schoolar: Those schoolars are studying the natural mana in the whole world and their strong natural mana zones.   The magical schoolars: They are studying variouse magical beliefes, theories and uses of magic.   The alchemists: Studying herbs and magic for medical reasons.   Most of them are just a couple of elfs, mostly 1 or 2 seniors / masters in that field and 1 or 2 students. Except for the druidic cicle, that circle has about 3 - 4 members.
