Grynjar was once a warrior of light in a realm known as Eorzea, his home plane was destroyed in an event known as the Seventh Umbral Calamity. When the event took place, Grynjar was consumed in a flash of white light. He awoke with only his memories and clothing. He has set out upon a quest to find his purpose in this world.
