Halfhill

Halfhill, or to the natives Blathada, is the small halfling dominated region bordered almost entirely by water, or void. This isolated culture has had little contact with the outside world besides the small amount of interaction they've had with Levin, the people of the Heraldwood, and the even smaller amount they've had with Winterlan. The Blathans (or Halfolk) are some of the kindest and gentle people you'll meet. They exist as one large family, with large communities built on codependency. The people of Halfhill hardly use money for more then optional expenses, where things like food, shelter, water, medicine, and so on are all simply expected of ones community. It's common sense to the Halfolk that everybody's right to live should be protected.   The rolling hills of Blathada rise upwards to the west, with plentiful fields of food, orchards, and collections of livestock in such bounty that it could keep three Halfhill's fed for a year off of one harvest alone. The excess food they make is sent to the south east and given to couriers who take it across the Sahin Desert, or shipped across Lake Young, and brought into the lands of Levin and Winterlan to trade for minerals, metals, and medicines that simply aren't feasible to make in Blathada.
