Behemoth

A subspecies of Tech, from a time before people knew how to make things smaller.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Techs between 12-16 feet tall are classified as Behemoths. The oldest Behemoths bodies are mostly made of wires wrapped around loose skeletal structures, often with removable plates providing a degree of coverage. Younger Behemoths tend to be fully encased in plate with minimal wire exposure, much like "regular" techs. Behemoth faces are usually more abstract, with minimal "human" facial features. Humans will often have difficulty reading the emotions of Behemoths, as many do not have eyes or mouths, and emote with other cues instead.

Biological Traits

Big, often with much more exposed wiring and with more abstract faces than newer techs. Some, like Titan, are unable to speak "normally", but can still communicate with either morse or with messages printed on ticker tape.

Genetics and Reproduction

Behemoths are incapable of reproduction, though they can and will fuck.

Dietary Needs and Habits

As with techs, Behemoths do not eat, but they must rest for several hours each day. This can be staved off with batteries, however.

Weird. Often comprised of any combination of buttons, dials, switches, small screens, and other things. Some have recognizable facial features, but theyre often in weird, abstract places.

Behemoths are usually seen sporting older fashions than regular techs, on account of their age.

Historical Figures

• Titan, a famous cryptologist and war hero, assassinated and dead for decades, but recently returned to life.
• Apollo, one of the fathers of space exploration, head of the mysterious Graveyard Orbits and Titan's longtime beau.
• Sphinx, head of Argensian intelligence and...well, for lack of a better word, entertainer.
• Tisiphone, trusted president and founder of Argensa.
