After 32 years of experiments and study, the witches discover a ritual that would remove all magical being from Argeddon except for one species, which would have to stay behind to perform the ritual. Animen leaders are convinced into helping, and the ritual is performed at the Edge. The floating islands fall to the ground. The crystal forests sink into the earth, and all magical creatures vanish.
