Inspired by Rinburn's example, hundreds of would-be kings arise in the east. Cagaetos the Red eventually becomes King of Arcadia.

As the western coalition had agreed to disband once the Heoringas were defeated, so too had the eastern. However, the eastern coalition had not appointed a dictator as the western one had. Hundreds of rulers from across eastern Aressa gathered their forces, aiming to make themselves king by force. All expected the war to drag on for years, perhaps decades, until the Heoringas were freed from their war in the north and returned to strike at the fractured east. However, the elven ruler of Kefalaio, Cagaetos the Red, defeated his rivals and claimed the kingship in a mere four years.
