Mendia

Founded in 1025 along the shores of the River Mend that runs down from the Iron Mountains, Mendia is the largest human-majority city in Arcadia. It serves as the primary garrison for the war with Axmund, and many barracks have been built surrounding the city. Mendian potters are famous for their skill in carving fine details, as well as their pottery’s strength. Mendia is also a major center of trade of Gnomish fire-powder, which is often shipped along the River Mend.

History

In 1025, several human tribes traveled west from the heart of Arcadia. Many passed the River Mend and continued into To Synoro, but some would go no farther. They established Mendia as a site through which trade could pass between the eastern coastal cities and the western farms.
