Hauntmoor

The lands south of the Iron Mountains are desolate and empty, covered with heather, bracken, and coarse, dark grasses. No trees grow on the moor, nor do any animals walk there, except for birds. Few dare the Hauntmoor, and those who do rarely remain there at night; the few who do return shaken, and refuse to speak of what they experienced. Many tales have grown up around the moor, speaking of restless dead, horrible beasts, and other, far worse things.
