Voss (enPR: vŏs, IPA: /vɒs/)

The voss, also known as vouss, (Old Havlic: vóupsus) is an omnivorous scavenging mammal with large jaw and canine teeth native to the Havlic Peninsula and Tsedria. They are thought to have been created by the god(dess) Vopsonine.

Ecology and Habitats

Vosses live in forests which provide optimal cover to stalk prey and avoid larger predators.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Vosses are usually carnivorous, but will resort to eating plants when other food is scarce. They are scavengers that can either hunt alone or in packs. When they are alone they will feast on the scraps left by other carnivores. When they are in packs they will steal the prey of solitary predators by scaring them away after they score a kill.
