Military action
After losing the cities it conquered during the first crusade, the Divine Ütherreich wanted revenge.
Some time between the first and the second crusade, the cities the Divine Ütherreich had taken were pried from its grasp. The second crusade was a much-delayed response to these liberations. Rather than attempting to recapture these locations, The Divine Ütherreich decided it would "punish" the Braccian League instead. However, the city they attempted to attack had been fortified in anticipation of the crusade, and the Empire suffered heavy losses before retreating. The Braccian League was hardly affected by this crusade.
