The Bronze Sphere

The Bronze Sphere is a mysterious artefact that was originally found in an archaeological dig in the Machatun Mountains. It was then sent to Montelermo to be examined by members of the Great Archive in Montelermo as well as the College of Antiquity and Ancient Studies of the Montellian Academy. However, it never arrived. The caravan transporting it succesfully delivered it to a port in Verenne, where it was loaded onto the Melita, a heavily armoured galleon. While the ship safely left the port, it disappeared and was never discovered. Of the many scrying attempts to discern its fate, very few have yielded any information, and those that did simply revealed that it had sunk. Since then, it has been the subject of scrutiny by various governments, powerful individuals, and secretive criminal organizations.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

As is rather obvious to all who inspect it closely, the sphere appears to serve as a sort of safe, containing something within it. None who have interacted with it have been able to open it, keeping its contents a mystery. In spite of this, there are still a number of guesses as to what it could hold. One such guess is that it contains the Infinite Spindle, an ancient artifact able to transform any creature into a demigod. Others are that it holds magical secrets from the Sarrukh, who created the Amatleh Teocaru or that it holds the necessary information and means to forge the legendary metal known as Tantulhor.

Raw materials & Components

The exterior of the sphere is made of a hard, bronze-coloured metal that seems to be indestructible. All attempts to penetrate (or even scratch) as well as melt it have been unsuccessful. It has also resisted the effects of all magic that has targeted it.
