Anomeia
The Chrynitian Republic of Anomeia is a nation in northwest Sefit, centered around the Wenet river and the Ainum valley.
History
The Republic of Anomeia was formed in 877 by Prosophese Psara and the Chrynis Council, a council of Lacean politicians and influential figures of Othos and Vegaris, they overthrew the King Eteb Afmib of the Serunites and consolidated their power by making the capital of the nation Anomeia, and forming the senate out of the Chrynis council, creating a Chrynitian Republic, where institutions reigned over individuals and governance was put in the hands of the senate body over governors. This transition from a long lasting monarchy to a foreign republic caused much unrest among the majority Serunite population of Anomeia, and various rebellions began to usurp power from the Lacean rulers, that failed. Prosophese assumed the role of Chancellor, head of state, granting him the ability to form emergent initiatives including that of the new military formed out of loyal generals from the previous regime, and the youngest and most ambitious young men of the Lacean clans, this military would practice and form experience putting down rebellions and acting as a security force for the new republic and it's benefactors.
This formed the "Three Principles of Government";
The Chancellor - which acted as head of state with executive powers to enact emergency orders, mostly that of military and security.
The Senate - the body of elected or initiated officials each tasked with representing sectors of the nation, and upholding economic and societal quotas.
The Kyria - the codex that lists all the rules and ordnances for the government and how the government should proceed, it acts as a constitution to the nation and has the highest authority. It's inception was created by the Chrynis council in order to ensure a maintained status quo to keep order and societal and political balance.
