Born into the already wealthy Lone family, Angus Lone effortlessly followed in his father's footsteps, growing the family fortune.
His life was like any of the Taag Brosin upper class until his wife died in childbirth; losing her caused ice to grip his heart, love being replaced by steely resolve to hold power, the only control he could have over this cruel world.
He set his sights on the position of Governor and focused on working towards that to forget his grief, leaving his daughter ( Mel Lone ) to herself most of the time.
Not long after his Wife's death, word started to spread about a mistress he cheated with. To prevent this tarnishing his reputation, and therefore jeopardizing his goal, Lone bribed the Taag Brosin City Guard to arrest her under false claims then exile her.
The woman simply moved to the slums, the rumors only raising in frequency. Enraged, Lone had her captured and brought before him, then he executed her personally, in secret, but found himself unable to kill her daughter since she was his child too.
He had the child, ( Aela von Ostwald (PC) ) sent to be raised in an orphanage and forced into the army as soon as she was able, where people kept tabs on her to make sure word did not get out of what happened to her mother.
Years later, a new obstacle revealed itself to Lone. Zeke Greywood (PC) , lover of Mel, spread a satirical poem, ridiculing him among the people of the lower district before vanishing. Mel ran away shortly after. Some weeks later he was awoken to seeing the same poem written across the town square in front of his house, later catching Zeke as he pushed a letter through his door, apparently in an attempt to ransom Mel back to him.
This forced him to speed up his plans. He arranged for Governor Imperito to be assassinated, then bribed the guards in the Taag Brosin Upper District along with some influential people to gain the position of Governor.
His ruling gained him no favoures of the other Districts though, two of which allied against him: staging an attack on the Upper District. The Party cut their way past his guards and Aela von Ostwald (PC) killed him in cold blood, to avenge her mother.
