Personal history

Born to a citizen of Taag Brosin Lower District as a bastard child of a Noble of Taag Brosin Upper District . Once he learned of her existence her father had Aela and her mother evicted, forcing them to live in the Brosin Slums . Aela's mother felt betrayed by the man she had considered her lover and maintained that her place was with him in the Upper District.
Once Aela's Father heard about the spreading rumors he ordered his guards to abduct her and her mother before anything could be proven. After expressing his rage to Aela's mother he murdered her in cold blood, but could not bring himself to murder his own daughter. Instead he forced her to change her name and enlisted her into Military Training, under threat that she would be killed if she said anything about her past life.
As a lowly soldier she was assigned to a squad who patrolled the slums. After initial successes in clearing gangs of thieves her squad was ambushed, Aela was the sole survivor, using the chance to desert the military and begin anew.

Employment

Forced to join the army by her father, compared to her rough life growing up in the slums military life was easy. During a raid her squad was killed, however she was able to escape. Dropping her military garb she took the opportunity to desert the army, tricking her father into presuming that she had died along with the rest of her Patrol.
With a new name and new clothing she now seeks to find fortune as a freelance mercenary.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Her patrol unit shut down several criminal gangs before one proved too much for them to handle.

Failures & Embarrassments

During an attempt to destroy a gang's storehouse containing drugs and weapons they were ambushed. The rest of her squad was brutally killed, their corpses were later strung up as a warning.
