History

Because it doesn’t freeze in the frigid northern winters and because of the mists that rise from its surface year-round, the Manneskor of the region have considered the lake sacred for as long as they have inhabited the region. During the time of the Iliosgy empire, the Iliosgy attempted to colonize the area around the lake to attempt to take advantage of the abundant resources, they were met with hostility from the Manneskor people, who succeeded in turning them back.

After the fall of the Iliosgy empire the lake was exclusively in the territory of the Sydklar people. That is until Skogfolk began settling in the Fjernhjem forest. Once the Fjernhjem people were established the lake was shared by the two tribes who do not think of it as owning it so much as holding it in trust for all the Manneskor people.
