Summon Minion (Generic)

This is a generic spell for summoning a helper. When you take it, you should specify the specific type of being summoned. And you can learn this spell multiple times for different creatures. Summoned beings are generally loyal to you, but you should not have access to minions with a broad array of supernatural powers from a single casting of this spell. All summoned minions are Quick Characters.   Many of the summoned minions will be servitors of an archon. In this case, the summoned being represents a single one of the archon's Domains, the one being used to summon it. So its high stat will apply to all activities and situations listed under the Domain's description.

Cantrip

This summons a small minion as long as you concentrate. It has a high stat equal to half your Magic Power rounded up, a low stat of 0, and is of a small size category.

Great

This summons a minion with a high stat equal to your Magic Power, a low stat half that rounded up, hit points equal to 10 + your high stat, and damage equal to its high stat plus low stat. It remains as long as you concentrate. It cannot be larger than regualar size category.

Superior

This acts as the great version, but now its high stat and low stat are 1 higher and it can bear 1 injury. Alternatively, it can be of the large size category.

Ultimate

This acts as the superior version, but concentration is no longer required.

Notes for GM's

This can be a particularly tricky spell to balance. Summoned minions are designed to be less powerful than a PC. Additionally, they usually can't cast spells although sometimes the GM may allow a minion to cast an innate spell. Summoned minions cannot themselves summon minions of their own.
