Your silver tongue and social wit make you an instant hit with the people you meet. Upon first meeting, however an NPC regards the party, they regard you one level more favorably. If a band of mercenaries want to kill the party, they might be willing to let you go. If a merchant is neutral to the party, he’s pleased to meet your acquaintance. You have advantage on the first social roll you make on someone. This only applies to first impressions, if the NPC gets to know you, or is familiar with you by reputation, that familiarity overrides all of these benefits.
On top of all of that, you get +1 to your Influence skill in all situations.
