Plex Ainfold
Plex Ainfold (a.k.a. Suplex)
Plex Ainfold is a monk and scholar who grew weary of studies and sought to find new experiences and excitement by travelling the world. During this time he developed an interest in wrestling and unarmed martial arts. When his journeys brought him to Arcos on the Island of Neyris he joined the party that would go on to form the Guild of Cardinal Points. Plex played an instrumental role in capturing the Nemion and securing the Guild it's first victory.
Physical Description

Plex's dedication to martial arts in general and wrestling in particular have made him strong, nimble and tough.
Identifying Characteristics
Plex received serious burns during his struggle with the Nemion that never fully healed, including a burn scar over his left eye.
Special abilities
Plex has honed his signature move, the 'Suplex' in many battles, and has used it to turn the tides in confrontations that appeared hopeless at the time.

Plex wears loose robes that while not specific to any particular order of monks, would not look out of place in many monasteries.

Although his current role is that of a martial artist and adventurer Suplex hasn't forgotten the knowledge gained during his studies as a scholar.

Accomplishments & Achievements
Suplex is one of the Guild of Cardinal Points' most experienced adventurers at this point.
During the Hunt for the Nemion he landed the final blow against the Giant Octopus that attempted to drag their ship under the waves by dragging it up above the water, wounding it, and throwing it back into the sea.
He bodily wrestled the Nemion during the party's final encounter with it and held his ground despite receiving severe burns.
Suplex was one of the adventurers that ventured into the Knockshire Mines and made it out alive.
He is currently on a mission for the Guild in the Carn Geirick Islands trying to get to the bottom of the Naglfar mystery.

Plex is a complex character, often struggling between his scholar's instinct to intellectualise problems, and his warriors instinct to suplex them.

Suplex has fought alongside many members of the guild at this point.
During the Hunt for the Nemion he was fought alongside Clarence Blackfinger, Opal Eclipse, Dogman and Ariadne.
During the escape from the Knockshire Mine he fought alongside Opal again, Segarus, Skorgriim Hjalnir, Cadeus of Altea and Oreiron Silverfist. He is currently adventuring alongside Skorgriim and Segarus again, accompanied by Bilillybell Crough and Howl.

History
Howl respects Plex as he respects anyone he considers learned. He also likes him because Plex has always been friendly to him, and has generally proven himself to be reasonable and considered in his responses to even the most extreme situations.
