Shogun/Tursog

Qualifications

Either you must be a descendant of the previous Shogun or be of a noble family who had taken over the rule of Shogun.

Appointment

To be crowned Shogun, you will either have to be the one to kill the previous Shogun, or you must be a child and go through the shogun festival. A Parade of Nusod/Archipeligo Samurais will march in their respective ranks, carrying banners of the successor or shoguns' clan. Then the successor will be placed into their Shogunate uniform, and a large party of the nobles will come to visit the new successor and bring gifts of weapons, armour, flowers and other items.

Duties

As a Shogun, you must commit to duties related to your nation and other nations. The Shogun's primary concern is to do something that the Emperor couldn't do, unite the four islands to bring peace. Uniting the nations would get a relatively peaceful result, but the method would require war between prefectures. Another such responsibility of the Shogun is to strengthen the military and defence force, as there were many wars within themselves and with other countries.

Responsibilities

A Shogun must catch up on the diplomatic issues relating to the country, including those related to the economy, safety, military, trade, environment and other issues. The Shogun must also come up with strategies to deal with wars and conflict as a military leadert.

Benefits

You have an absolute rule of your nation, every person must abide by your law and orders, and you may declare war on any country, provided you express it first.

Accoutrements & Equipment

You have special shogunate wear for different occasions. One for outside occasions for meeting with the common peoples, outlined within the clothing section on K'iesi/Archipeligons article. They also have worn a Dark Blue/Black robe similar to the Shoutaki fit with Rora Wooden armour with golden accents worn during diplomatic, noble and common palace meetings. A squire also carries a special Nodachi and Tsurugi mixture blade to every meeting. The armour and sword are used to protect the shogun from assassinations.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

A shogun can be dismissed only if a person kills the previous shogun or the child of the old shogun usurps the throne when the old shogun dies.

Cultural Significance

The Shogun is treated like how Imperial Japan treated the Emperor, a god. Though this status of godhood was once the same as the Emperor, stating the Oryu/Oriu  moulded the Emperor out of the bones of every creature mixed with the flames of the Fire/Sun Goddess and said that he would be the one and only ruler (Oryu hadn't done any of this), the mythology changed to have the emperor insult Oryu/Oriu, and so the Shogun was made to usurp the throne.
