Sword of Renova

The Sword of Renova is a powerful weapon resting at the bottom of Nabula.

Description

The Sword of Renova is a long sword with carved runes down the blade. The runes are crusted with the blood of past enemies which cannot be washed off. The cross guard is in the shape of flames erupting to either side, and the hilt features a red emerald. The blade is slightly darker than normal steel, an indeterminate metal possibly taken from a meteorite.

History

The Sword of Renova is the sword he used when single-handedly turning the tides of the War Of Flames. When he Ascended shortly after, the sword was imbued with his power. However, through reasons only known to Renova himself, the sword was placed in Nabula's crater. Many people have attempted to retrieve it using magical methods, only to be overwhelmed by the intense heat. Some even theorise that the blade is no longer down there anyway, but that doesn't stop power-hungry people from trying.
Nobody knows where the sword originally came from. Renova came from a family with a long line of ancestors, and the sword was presumably an heirloom. The blade was unnaturally sharp, even without being powered by a demigod, and stayed that way even while slaughtering hordes of enemies. It is truly a marvel of smithing.

Use

As the sword is imbued with Renova's power, it allows a mortal to wield the same power and skill he did when defeating the armies of ネオンしま Neonshima. It gives powerful strength and speed, as well as skills with all weapons and enhanced senses and instincts. Anyone wielding this sword can wipe out an army with no prior training.
