Gilda Gonne is an actor; she was raised in the Soundsmith and Tumblewright circus, a long-standing institution that traveled the globe to much acclaim. Somewhere along the way, she parted ways with her circus, though she is reluctant to speak of the details. Now, she is looking for her family.

General Physical Condition

Gilda currently looks like her departed cousin, Amber Soundsmith. Amber was of average build, freckled face, and gentle manner. That's enough to know, for now.

Special abilities

A virtuoso in terms of mimicry, Gilda has been trained from childhood to be an actor supreme. Roles and aliases are as comfortable on her as well-worn shoes, and illusions spring from her fingers as naturally as meandering anecdotes from her silver tongue.

Apparel & Accessories

Rarely seen without her headscarf and its many pins and clips, she also is littered with mismatched jewelry, from signet rings to pendants and bracelets; she has quite the collection of trinkets upon her person. Whenever she finds herself in a new port, she will shop around for a new pin for her scarf as a souvenir.

Her instruments of choice are her hand-drum, her lyre, and her pan-flute.

Education

Gilda spent her life being trained for the stage. She is educated in both performance and the works being portrayed, in stagecraft and in illusion. Thus, she has had little in the way of offensive magic until recently.

Much to her own dismay, Gilda is terrified of heights, and will generally stay either below-decks or, more often, as close to the mast or the middle of the ship as possible.

Motivation

Although initially cagey on the subject, Gilda is looking for her family. If she finds answers instead, she will take them; if there's revenge that needs be had, likewise; however, finding her family is of the utmost priority.

Gilda has a sort of a brogue, despite the person she has modeled her appearance after never having such a dialect.

Family Ties

The Soundsmith and Tumblewright circus was a family affair; the two families became intertwined and was prone to adopting performers and stagehands who stuck around long enough. As such, Gilda was blessed with an overabundance of family members.

While she may be a professional liar, she's an honest one who takes her cause quite seriously.
