A small step into a familiarly hostile land. The return of the last of the line of true kings.

Many scholars debate when, exactly, Elmeyon's Rebellion started. Most Crendamite scholars will argue that it officially begun the moment Elmeyon Crendameth openly declared the third day of Clearsky as the day the realm was freed from the yoke of The Voidlord. Most of them don't realize that a public beginning isn't the same as a legitimate one.

As such, we can trace the origin of Elmeyon's Rebellion to the moment where he became the first Crendameth to set foot in Ar'Nuhûn in two and a half centuries. He arrived at Stillport, in the southeastern reaches of the realm, with an entourage of four knights that served as escorts, one of which was not human. In a lowly tavern called The Smiling Kraken (which has now become a famous travel destination), a drunk patron threatened to call the garrisoned troops if the "scaled freak" didn't pay a ludicrous amount of coin. Elmeyon sat the inhuman knight down and proceeded to hold a palaver with the drunk, which then turned into a quiet speech to anyone who would hear about how he would be the one to set things right. Witnesses to the scene would later be executed, but one of them supposedly said that the heavens had answered their prayers in the form of a radiant angel made man.

The inhuman then doffed his cloak, revealing him as a triton by the name of Noumos Gahalmath pledging himself to follow Elmeyon wherever he went as the hour turned to midnight. The other knights, Wulfric, Miridas and Astræa of Windpath followed suit, and soon the small mass of people that had gathered outside the tavern quietly joined their voices to the chants of the knights.

Thus, hope was sparked once more.
