The continent of Ni'Hel is one that has generally been associated with war, as its countries have a long-standing tradition of honoring conflict and viewing it as a form of divine intervention by the gods, a series of tests to prove one's resolve as an individual and as a nation. As such, the kingdoms, countries and empires that now exist are built upon the ashes of countless others that fell well before their time. In stark contrast to the continent of Ar'Nuhûn, the entirety of Ni'Hel has been charted and settled, adding yet another reason for the powerful to be at each other's throats, vying for an inch into another's lines.
