Rizonae

Rizonae is a leafy plant that grows only on the banks of the Ashdare Delta. The leaves, when touched by exposed skin, cause irritation and itchiness that lasts for about 24 hours. It is believed to be poisonous, though this is not a confirmed theory. It has caused the water flowing through the delta to stay at the same level of dirtiness since it started growing there. It is argued that, if the plant weren't there, the state of the water would be a lot worse, since contamination by Eflaria has only gotten worse, not better. It is therefore believed that the roots or stems of these plants somehow clean the water. However, there has never been much research done on it, as the plants grow thickly and quickly, and, especially now, after having been left to grow unchecked for decades, navigating through it can be extremely painful, and perhaps even fatal.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Not much is sure about this plant, but it seems to thrive off something that is only found in the murky waters of the Ashdare Delta and River. It is only found on the delta, at least in Arburg.
