Lizard People

Lizard People are an ancient people. While some maintain the trappings of civilization, most have regressed to a violent pre-civilized state who prey upon the unwary and unwise who dare travel through their territory.
They are common in swamps and marshlands.
Some journey to become adventurers seeking knowledge and power in hopes of returning their people to glory.
Lizard people speak a language common to all lizard-like and dragon-like species, some call it Lizard Tongue, others call it Draconic. They also speak Trade Tongue.
