Elder Forest

To the farthest east of Serkia, at the base of Haradron's Horn North, lies the northern end of the Greenshade Forest. Or as elves would say, the "cradle of Uelf'shinti ("The land of the first among us").
The oldest known elven settlements, "Athars", (Now in ruins) lie spread within the heart of this land. To this day, the drow elves still inhabit this forest.
Many serkian legends claim strange monsters and creatures prowl in the woods, and as such they have made no attempt to settle in "Alven Vord" (Forest of the elves). Some would even call it cursed. The Union has made attempts to settle Greenshade Forest, but never so far north.

Geography

The forest is thick and dense, which manages to climb up to the Haradron Range to the east.
The forest has overgrown the northern coast, leaving almost no beach. To the south, the forest doesn’t actually end until Iskolos.

Fauna & Flora

Bears, wolves, foxes, hares, rabbits, opposums, badgers, hawks, owls and red deers are common animals within the forest.
Conifers dominate the forest, with resilitent berries and roots interspaced between. "Forest Watchers" (Very large trees) can also be seen, albeit rarely.

Natural Resources

The wood is extremely valuable, but the remoteness of the location (Paired with the dangers, real or imagined) make exploitation a distant dream.
