Miklal Andril: The First Emperor of Adrea

Founder and First Emperor of Adrea Miklal Un Andril (a.k.a. Mik, Mika,)

" He stood there, Shining like a polished stone, no! More! Like.. Like a God! Yeah! like how you imagine to see one of 'dem God's in the church! He walked up the hill, men groaning and in pain, and they stopped, actually stopped being in pain to watch him pass! And he didn't make them grovel, didn't make them beg for his forgiveness for the three day seige o' the place. He just walked right up to the Justicar, and said in the calmest voice you've ever heard, "That seat, is for Adrea and her people." "   -Quote from a viewer of the first ordination, of Emperor Miklal Andril: Paper, written in seed ink. Estimated 2 ToS by Adrean calendar.

Personal history

Miklal was born to a small family, a brother and sister before him. His father was a fisher, and spent most days away on the water, While his mother was a seamstress of the village. The Village of Loway rested in a small valley south of botkinburg, a small few miles from the Cronefen River. Miklal's father, Rud, would spend time with his older brother, Finn, teaching him the ways of fishing, being the oldest, Finn would inherit his father's craft, while Yona, His sister, would learn her mother's craft. This left Miklal in a awkward place as a child, having no apprenticeship to call his own. He spent most of the time in the surrounding areas with friends, it was said young Miklal often had fantsies of becoming a knight, and thwarting dastardly plans. And one day, perhaps rising to the rank of Judicator, in service to the Justicar, and merit out the swift hand of justice. As he arrived on his 16th birthday, his father, sick with the rot, had put away money for young Miklal to join in the service, saving up just enough for a well smithed sword. Overwhelmed, he left to sign up that day, arms present. And before his departure, swore he would send money home, and take care of all of them.   The next few years were the hardest of Miklal's life, or so he told it.   The Justicar had been metting out war's with standing lands for quite sometime, the inception of the Judiciary was not a win for the people, but for the powerful. From The Spires, The Judicator waged war on the small dutchies strewn from the land of the spires to the distant east of the Coteign Vale. With these wars, there was little negotiation, and mass battles. Miklal served as a swordsman in a Storm unit, a secondary vanguard charged with replacing ranks inside of the vangaurd.   As explained by the Emperor, he killed more than his fair share of people who looked like his family. These were not men or women of armies, but villagers who simply did not believe in the Judiciaries ruling power. And they were systematically slaughtered for it. The war pushed east, to the City state of Azzamur, where for months they had been prepairing for this war. Their walls were high, fortified with many weapons and soldiers. Miklal's army was absolutely crushed. And he himself, lay bloody and dying in the sun, waiting for death to take him. Emperor Miklal has said that he believed he had died twice while laying out in the fields, but before his rise to the Paladin Miklal, he remebers walking outside of his body, looking down at all the dead, and as he dropped to his knees. He swore an oath, more to his spirit then anyone else, that if only he could live again, he would change this, make sure that brothers would not fight brothers, to stand as a nation. It was then, he says, that The God we know as Tyr spoke to him, and offered a chance to do this.   Miklal was revived a paladin. But had also renounced his humanity, and had ascended to the chosen, who we know now as the Aesmir. Now a Paladin of Tyr, and a Aesmir, to the people of Azzamur, he was a herald of their new gods, and when he spoke the name Tyr, the people knew he had been sent, to end this war.
