Agent Jarek Vadimovich Novosad (a.k.a. "Rookie")
Jarek was born and raised on Charuta. His parents both work in local government and certainly have the money to show for living on the richest planet in the system. He is one of two children, with his younger sibling, Nikita, coming along about five years later.
There was, obviously, some of the best education available. Jarek was heavily involved in any political clubs offered, and was somewhat revered as "that delegate" among the other schools' teams. He's always had extremely high ambitions, going initially for a pre-law degree before deciding to go into the Academy. That, unsurprisingly, he also excelled in, specifically when it came to protocols and procedures.
Jarek graduated from the Academy with top marks, and, at the behest of all of his teachers, immediately applied for every open position the Bureau had to offer. It was a common practice, even if most recent graduates still ended up at a desk job for a few years to start out. Somehow, however, Jarek was pulled for an interview with one of the counter-terror teams -- one headed by Agent Locke -- and, for reasons unknown to him, was hired.
He still isn't sure how exactly he ended up being the youngest person taken on to this kind of team. So far, he's been too afraid to ask. There is a decent amount of impostor syndrome on occasion, but so far Jarek is powering through with his usual amount of stubborn determination.
Now if only Donny would stop calling him "rookie" all the time.

After his interview for said counter-terror unit, he walked confidently through the door that happened to go into a supply closet. Too embarrassed to face it, he stayed in that closet for almost three hours. His boss was merciful enough not to mention that to the rest of the team later.
