Career Progression

Expert salvagers can end up recruited as resource managers at the Refuge headquarters. They oversee goods necessary for the war effort and organize salvaging parties in an effort to secure larger and/or more difficult to obtain resources.

Payment & Reimbursement

Payment tends to scale depending on the scarcity, demand, and rarity of the items recovered. Salvagers for hire usually demand a flat rate for their services, then extra payment for the items acquired.

While most salvagers can be found in the marketplace peddling their finds, some can be hired to search for particular goods.

Dangers & Hazards

It's extremely dangerous to recover recently ravaged remains. Dragon soldiers often patrol war-torn areas to pick off survivors in the wreckage, and other salvagers can often be competitive to the point of hostility. Times are desperate, so people will do it anyway in order to survive.
