Basilisk's Nest

Expansive tunnels carve through the crust of Apteros, the centuries old architectural legacy of extinct dragon-eaters. Many of these cave systems intersect, sometimes creating colossal crossroads where perhaps many of these giant, ancient, creatures once congregated. One of the largest of such suspected crossroads became known as the Basilisk's Nest, but has since been settled by refugees of the dragon uprising. Humanity's most precious technology and historical Sphinxian tomes have been hidden here, guarded by a growing resistance to the dragon army.
