Welcome

Introduction
A grand caravan-city, pulled by sails with winds of sand, carving its way across sun-scorched deserts.
Fractured skies of sea and stars - scattered islands that float and drift atop a loam-scented breeze.
Rain cascading through water-mills, from the boughs and leaves of a tree that breaches the clouds.
Sky-bridge citadels gazing over waterfalls of jade, to flourishing ash-jungles beyond a rotting marsh.
Terraces of clockwork that burrow and drill; drumming forge-fire rhythms of war and black-powder.   Wayfarers by a campfire, honey-drunk in a revelry of mead, awaiting the adventures that lie ahead.   Welcome to Apocrypha.   To support Apocrypha's creation, check out my Support Me Page, visit my Patreon, or join the Discord!
About Me
Hi, I'm Fyrsa! I'm the creator of and author for Apocrypha, a high-fantasy TTRPG campaign setting.
Once I first played TTRPGs, I learned how fun and meaningful it was to share in someone's world.
After life hurdles - from coming out, to receiving my autism diagnosis - I've found a true passion.
Now I'm striving to create world that's welcoming to everyone of all backgrounds and identities.
The World
The world of Apocrypha is one of magic and mystery, where every answer opens up new questions.
Explore environments where the fantastical and mundane are interwoven, and anything can happen.
Inspired by existing fantasy tabletop settings - it retells familiar tales to create something new.
It aims to provide an inviting experience and resource, for both new and seasoned players alike!
The Wonderful
Intrinsic to Apocrypha is heightened reality, where in time, history and mythology become one.
This gives the freedom to tell stories how you please, depending on how you frame the narrative.
Partake in grounded political intrigue and gritty conflict, as if recounting a historical conspiracy...
Or battle giants and befriend dragons (or both!), as though through the lens of a bard's tall tale.
The Weird
A core theme is that anyone - whether individuals or groups - can explore and change the world.
With this comes the Wyrd; The force of fate that binds people together into the stories of legend.
So widespread is this phenomenon, that it has grown into a worldwide tradition called Wayfaring.
Wayfarers can vary wildly, from local folk-heroes, to famous adventurers, or exoplanar explorers.
