City in the Clouds

Home to the Skawa, Cathars is a city built on the highest points of the mountains along Ragna's Pass. Small huts on stilts and bridges can be seen throughout the city connecting the different families and businesses together. The city itself seems like it would fall over at any moment from the smallest touch, yet it is able withstand the great gales that pass through the valleys. The secret to their stability lies in the giant citrine crystals one can find throughout the city. The crystals have been around since the city was established. A delicate mix of Imbuing and Engraving allows the crystal to generate a field around the city that keeps it afloat and stable. The crystals are supplied with Aether regularly by the followers of Ragna, commonly refereed to as Ragna's committee. Being a part of the committee makes these Skawa famous among their people and they're seen as the pride of Cathars.

Almost completely Skawa. They rarely accept outsiders into their home, but some exceptions have been made.
