Onwa

The Onwa are the barbarian tribes of the north. Nomadic and brutal, the Onwa typically stay to their own territories. In ages past the Druidic practices of the Onwa tribes were able to domesticate some of the arctic wolves that live and hunt in the northern reaches. Riding these huge beasts into battle, they have excelled in both mounted and ranged combat.
The Onwan people are incredibly resilient to the cold and have an above average amount of body hair that covers their bodies. The men sport large beards and if they are defeated in combat, the victor will cut the braids off of their faces and keep them as a trophy.
Some tribes practice cannibalism during certain rituals, and hold trophies from conquered rivals, whether it is their bones, their women, or their children.
