Gods and the Multiverse

The cosmos is a fascinating and complicated place. It operates under its own rules that may seem strange and foreign to mortal minds but there is no denying that there exists in that vast space a cornucopia of different worlds, planes, races, and even gods. Most of the time these things do not crossover, but cosmic forces such as deities do not know this boundary. It is not unheard of that some people may know of, and even worship, the deities of a different verse as their influence can touch those who least expect it.

Summary

The worship of deities is common in Aonus and is considered atypical for someone to claim atheism. The gods and goddesses of the land have shown that they do indeed exist even if they hardly ever directly interfere. While there are some myths and legends of the gods walking amongst the mortals, conceiving demi-gods with men and women, there is no actual evidence to suggest there is any fact to these claims.
