The Founding of Cae
Summary
The Salindre were escaping persecution and came over the north Saleches, many left and settled but the leader Arael pushed on. He knew there was better land. Many were dying of starvation but still they walked, until they reached the south fork of what is now called the chert river. The unbelievers wanted to move on, but Arael knew that he had been led to the right place. The followed the river until it spread to four miles wide and met the sea with open arms. There they founded Cae, which is now the capital of the Alaethian empire.
Historical Basis
Ethnic war between Salindre and Norindre forced the Salindre west. A dispute between two leaders lead them to separate. Koese and Arael.

Very common in Alaethia, taught throughout the Alaethian empire. Common knowledge.
Variations & Mutation
In Koesh, known slightly differently, Koese wanted the best for his people. Did not succumb to the will of the wind, fought to see the sky in the wide open plains of Koesh.
