Kingdom of Kol Gethanil
The kingdom ruled by King Alfred III.
The currency of the kingdom is divided into copper, silver, gold, platinum, and adamantine coins. Copper pieces hold an image of the holy city, silver pieces an image of the temple to Abadar, gold pieces an image of King Alfred II, platinum pieces an image of King Alfred III, and adamantine pieces the symbol of Abadar.
Religion
The state religion is the worship of Abadar, administered by The Abadarian Episcopate. They control much of what goes on in the city, from trade to foreign relations. While not in charge of the kingdom, they have significant say in the actions of the King and his court.
Agriculture & Industry
Because of the temperate climate and the ancient volcanic soil agriculture is abundant in the rural regions. Considered by many to be the "breadbasket" of the world, Kol Gethanil ships grain and spices around the globe. In the major cities emphasis is placed on religious obedience and academics, and new technologies are regularly created and exported to other nations. Recent technological creations have aimed more at quality of life improvements.
Trade & Transport
Situated on a peninsula on the equator, Kol Gethanil is a trade powerhouse. The emphasis on wealth and trade has led to the creation of highways throughout the kingdom, allowing quick and easy transport over long distances.
The pain today leads to strength tomorrow.
