The Christmas Truce

Tired of all the dangers of Animoterra? Never fear!

All one must do to realize why animals go to the lengths they do to survive is to attend a Christmas party! Every year, for two days, all the major holds host parties to celebrate!

There will be drinks, games, shops and best of all, no dangers whatsoever! All species are invited, well, all the terrestrial ones at least. Icthytalus holds a party for aquatics.

Anyway, if you attend a party, you can have a conversation with a Guardian, share a drink with a Barbro or even, if your lucky, play chess with a sucker, if you can explain the rules.

History

No one knows the original start to the celebration, but it has been a tradition since forever. It is said that as long as someone is there to remember the year before, it will go on forever.

Execution

Well, as far as execution is involved, it's really just, when the sun sets, we party! Once the sun sets on 'Christmas Eve' (I should mention that their Christmas is a few months ahead of ours), the celebration begins, and when the sun rises on the day after Christmas, it's back to normal. I should also mention that on this day, the prey offer ther dead to the predators, as they know this will sustain the predators for quite a while.

Components and tools

Most everyone, except the younger Animoterrans, are allowed alcoholic beverages. Let me tell you, there is nothing better than a drunk Nomad. Other than that, everyone is given a ribbon, to show they attended.

Participants

The Guardians and Majhy are the main roles in the celebrations, but anyone can come up and ask questions, but most people are too busy to.

Observance

The celebration is usually on the Longest day, which makes more time to party. All species have a biological clock to make sure they get there on time, but if it is rescheduled, it is spread through the continents by ways of animal to animal and humanoid to humanoid.
