Inter-species communication

In an unknown manner, species of animals (excluding the humanoids) can communicate to each other. For instance, if they wanted to, a Sucker could plead to an Extengrab to not eat it, but in most cases, they just accept the law of nature.

Manifestation

It seems all creatures share a link to each other's minds. How this is, no one knows, not even the Guardians or the animals themselves. Although they prefer to save communication for days like the Christmas Truce, they can and sometimes do plead to not be eaten or killed.

Localization

It seems to occur more within more prey/peaceful animals' ranges, as they can feel more comfortable speaking to one another.
