Adamantine Band
A famous group of eight adventurers to the end of the Second Age. They became famous and to their till now known name when the group defeated a rampant Adamantine Golem in the city of Zanarkan in the year 2626 HM. Their stories and tales, especially the encounter with the Rampant Golem, are known all around in Andaria thanks to the writing of Ehothilia, who in his last years wrote down what they had encountered on their path.
The partymembers were as followed: Adarant the magnificient Unkown, the reason the Adamantine Bands ever came in existence, the soul of the group with charisma as big as its heart; its death by the Adamantine Golem was a great shock, that a few party members never coped with. Ehothilia an exiled druid of the Moondancers decided on his old days to reventure one last time and see beyond his home forests. Having reached an age that none of his compatriots could fathom he was the bitterly needed supportive figur, who gave comfort and advice in the reoccurring harsh times. Sir Terry the Knowledgeable, born of a concubine in a strict nobility household, escaped his circumstances in order to see the world and learn more than the bland underhandedness of politics and power; his knowledge and creative use of skill saved the party more than once. Ernit the Steadfast was the tactican of the group. Having learned the tactics of battle and war for as long as he could remember he was a indispensable asset of the group. The strangest of the group was maybe Orvon Grizzclock, an exiled gnome artificier with a few weird ticks, that spoke of her many experiments that went astray. Lady Ankar Ironhide once a simple barbarian Stonehook dwarf of the Dwarven Federacy joined the party only to become an adventurer, live her life in a blaze of gore and glory; only with time this rough gem opened herself up to her new-found friends and family. Sir Ervor was a simple man with simple wishes: helping people whenever he could and leaving the world better than he found it; the party had to always keep an eye on him to make sure he wasn't duped. The last of the surviving member of the Adamantine Band was Istella Silberbeutel, an unreformable rascal and most talented thief. She saved the party as often as she brought trouble with her kleptomaniac tendencies.
The party lost two of its members before they were bestowed with their name: Arawina a shy and young human women, who had a hard expressing herself and Lockror Sharp a dwarven fellow, who followed the path of the monk and who just wanted to travel to West Andaria in order to gain knowledge of other monk monasteries.
