Flashes of red, why red-
Well maybe he'd spent too long upside down.
Zeypher's tail twitched and he shifted his weight lightly to just one hand, easing his legs down to get himself rightside up, only to immediately stumble and find it was wiser to flop down to the soft grass below.
A beautiful day, a sky turquoise blue full of puffs of clouds, of distant birds chasing each other. He grinned, leaping up and changing before his now-taloned feet could hit the ground; a brief touch before blue-black wings flared and fluttered and a too-large crow wheeled up, cawing madly to try and catch the others' attention.

Personal history

The eternal fool- literally, he's actually become a fairly well-known act, though half the fame comes from the fact that he's looked around twenty-two for the last fifty years or more. That oddity is fairly easy to explain, given the other traits he exhibits, it's pretty clear he's a hybrid of some extent, or at least the result of a lot of magical tampering.
Trouble is... that's about anyone's best guess, including Zeypher himself. Fifty years and he's only ever recalled his name and the knowledge that he once had a sister. But he hasn't found any sign of a hybrid like himself in nearly five decade, so he feels it's safe to assume that, whoever she was, she's long-dead. Otherwise? He has no recollection of where he originates from, what other family he might have... anything at all. There's vague impressions and thoughts here and there, but nothing concrete. He's made a decent go of things, at least- he often takes a few years off and lives simply among flocks of crows, coming back to new towns every few years or so to make sure he's up with the latest trends. The last six or seven years, he's been touring with a circus, though he's itching to settle down a little more permanently sometime in the near future.
(One of two twin children born to a dragon of Disease and Death, Zeypher was... quite frankly an oddball, often seeking out humans and spending time in their communities as much as he could; whether as himself or in his crow form. Things were fairly uneventful for the first half or so of his life, occasionally he clashed with his sister, but nothing major came of it until an incident where he was set upon while away. The incident left him stranded far away from home and without most of his long-term memories- as well as difficulty forming new ones. He's been drifting about here and there since then.)

Sort of a fluid state between null & male-ish. (He/him, very occasionally they/them).

Asexual (more or less- he's had a couple instances of being into someone romantically & where the line of aesthetic appreciation and actual attraction kinda started to blend together), panromantic.

Unknown, but seems fairly intelligent and decently read.

Tumbler in a traveling circus.

Mental Trauma

Seems to have a fear of being crowded- he enjoys crowds, lives for them really, but if they seem to be closing in around him, he can and will bolt, whatever the situation may be. Startles easily, especially when shouted at or touched without warning.
Memory is extremely poor, likely a result of physical trauma, though there's some reason to suspect there may be a magical component to it as well to ensure he doesn't recall his origins. Either way, the result isn't... complete. There are times he does remember his sister more, even seems to show recall of his parents and where he's from... but forgets himself, or where he currently is. Trouble with words is also not too unusual, rarely he has episodes of almost completely forgetting someone he's come to know. He keeps up a cheerful enough face through most of these episodes, but they are highly distressing, and often leave him fairly shaken.

Intellectual Characteristics

Aural and kinesthetic learner- does best when they're combined, extremely poor trying to learn things that are only written down or relayed to him. Thankfully, he's had quite a lot of time around, so he's picked up quite a lot by sheer experience.
