Asclep

This large building was contructed as a place of healing for the many adventurers who return injured from their journeys into the Dungeon. Various adventurers who specialize in healing and medicine are able to practice their craft and improve their restorative abilities while not delving into the Dungeon. Many healers who have retired from the adventuring life end up working at this place of recovery in order to help those who have taken up the mantle after them.

Asclep is managed by the Accord, who appoints a head healer in for the facility. While some workers are full-time, most are volunteers, or draftees who come from different guilds throughout the city. The conscripted guild members serve for a short time at the hospital, usually a week or two per month, as part of their duties for being a registered adventurer with healing or medicinal capabilities.

The city as a whole respects the brave healers who provide their services at Asclep and problems with adventurers who are treated there rarely occur. Problems which do arise are often dealt with swiftly by high-level Accord employees.

Asclep is located close to the Dungeon's entrance and has been there for hundreds of years. It's been renovated several times to keep up with decay and is never left wanting for supplies as the Accord gladly provides a substantial amount of funds for its upkeep. Due to the high amount of adventurers being treated at the facility at any given time, it's rare to see regular citizens as patients there. Other hospitals do exist in the city, but they are often filled with more traditional forms of medicine and care instead of magic, hence they are more frequented by citizens than the "Adventurers' Hospital". If a non-adventurer is spotted in Asclep, there is a high chance they have the sort of sickness or injury that non-magical medicine cannot cure.
