Library 1} Lucy and Nova

Lucy played by Kiwi, Nova played by Flynn

Lucy sat at a table by the back, she rolled his eyes. Why did she even agree to this in the first place. This is the fucking stupidest idea shes had in a while. She was flipping through her book, trying to pay attention to what the pages were saying, but her brain wasnt focusing. How did Nova even talk her into this anyway.

the Library was silent as it usually is, that is until a certain someone decided to stroll in and loudly in her giggly manner greeted almost everyone she walked past, geez, did she really have no sense of what’s okey and what isn’t? She disturbed and greeted everyone who she walked past but couldn’t spot Lucy so she yelled out her name.
Everyone in the library turned around to stare at her and she got a Stirn SHHH from the woman at the desk and Nova just waved to her, clearly not understanding the message

Lucy slammed her face onto the table before standing up. She stormed over to Nova and pulled her to the back. "Nova this is a fucking library you can't yell in here." She scolded her and pushed her into a chair. She then sat back at her own with her book, and crossed her arms

she squeaked when she got dragged but then tilted her head at her comment “haha how else would they know I’m here though?”
she didn’t seem to understand not everyone needs to know about their presence but did start whispering and smiled “I’m so happy you agreed to meet me and didn’t bail, I would have had to go to your house if that happened” anddd she didn’t realize how creepy that sounded

Lucy groaned and covered her face, "You could have texted me? Oh or maybe looked around a little longer." She rolled her eyes and looked back at Nova, "If you showed up outside my house I just wouldn't let you in, you dont even know where I live anyway"

“I could figure it out somehow, Loid seems cool and also seems like someone who’d know where you live”
she honestly didn’t realize how creepy that sounded
“I am glad you came though, I thought you wouldn’t want to meet up haha”

"Loid isnt going to tell you where the fuck I live Nova," she shook her head and rubbed the cover of her book. This meeting was so dumb why was she even here. "I didnt want to come, but I wanted to know why you wanted to meet up"

she perked up and raised her voice in excitement “Well I’m glad you asked! Haha, I’d like to offer you a job opportunity” she smiled widely and looked at her with anticipation and excitement

"Shh shh shh Library Nova," she rolled her eyes and then narrowed them. A job opportunity, what in the world. "What kind of job"

she realized and lowered her voice and giggled
“Well it’s simple, I’m working on a project to translate Alterian books into English, anddddd I would like you to spell check the translation and correct it, then you hand it over and we Print-out the book for humans to read. I will be paying you and how much is basically on you, how much do you think this job is worth to you?”
she tapped her finger and narrowed her eyes
Suddenly really serious, this seemed a bit out of place, seemed a little unlike her even

As Lucy listened her facial features started to soften. She seemed genuinely interested in the project. "Wow that is really cool Nova," she set her hands in her lap for a moment, "Well if I did quit my job I'd like to make more money than I did there," she pursued her lips, "what do you say amalama currency (21 usd) per hour"

she pulled a paper out of her bag and wrote something on it and then slid it over to her
She wrote in (30 usd)
And the rest was just printed out writing
And then on the bottom it said “sigh here”
“You’ll have 30 days to check in and start your job
That sound okey?”

She stared at it with wide eyes, she almost said somthing, but she could use that money. She could really use that money. She chewed her lip and read over it carefully. God like 25 dollars more and not hot topic, fuck it. She sighed the paper and slid it back to her, "I'll start in a week where do I need to go,"

she hands her, her busyness card in a fluid and rather charming motion.
She was a busyness woman, as sheltered and rich she lived, she had this look in her eye that made her seem so convincing
“Just call this number, they’ll tell you everything you need to know”
she moved her long bangs out of her face a little and gave her a big smile
“I’ll see you then. Now, let’s get atta here, I’m gonna buy you some tea or coffee”
she stood up and didn’t seem like someone you could just simply say no to and she’ll leave you alone

"I dont drink coffee, but-" she sighed and put her book in her back, "I guess I'll go with you, just try to be at least somewhat quiet please, I gave a headache," she groaned and put her bag on her back

she just smiled and nodded, grabbing her hand and leading her out of the library rather quickly, she didn’t want to stay there any longer cause she liked to be loud.
“Tea it is!”
she looked around and stopped for a moment
She clearly didn’t know this area

Lucy groaned and sighed "the cafe's to busy let's just get something to eat." She pulled her hand away and took Nova's wrist, then she walked away. "I work around here so" she walked a couple blocks to a restaurant and then walked inside
