Causes

Unknown.

Symptoms

Victims begin to develop itchy boils all over their body. After some time, these boils pop, releasing small swarms of mosquitoes who proceed to bite nearby people and spread the infection. If no other animals or humans are nearby, the mosquitoes will simply bite the original host, causing more boils to appear. This is the most favorable outcome. Eventually, the boils will become painful, rendering the victim unable to move. Eventually, their eyeballs may pop, releasing more swarms of bugs. These symptoms continue until the victim dies from the pain or from loss of various organs.

Treatment

The boils seem to stop growing starting a week after the victim's death. Until then, they can be burned away, but this only seems to cause more boils to appear elsewhere on the victim, and should thus only be thought of as a temporary solution.

Prevention

Stay away from Zengyana. Burn those infected.
