Vuldan, the Protector of the Gorguns

Said to be the mightiest Gorgun to have ever lived, Vuldan is the Protector of the Gorguns. He is a literal giant standing nearly 2.5 meters tall, above average even for Gorguns and dwarfing all other species. He is the father of Igneous and wields the power of Protection from Eloh.

Vuldan is a jovial spirit. He loves a good laugh and always tries to see the positive side.

Special abilities

Vuldan has the ability to create a forcefield of divine energy that can stop even the mightiest of blows. This power was gifted to him by Eloh for his selflessness and dedication to protecting his people and he has learned to channel the power through his hammer Basher.

Specialized Equipment

Vuldan's hammer, Basher, is his most prized posession. He forged the hammer himself and feels a deep sense of connection with it. He will not allow anyone to wield his hammer without his permission, but very few would be able to at all.

Fearless Warrior . . ?

Vuldan is known for his size and strength but also for his great bravery and confidence in the face of danger. The Gorguns say when he was still young he jumped into a ravine that was filling with lava to rescue his friend. He pulled his friend to safety just as the lava reached them and climbed up the ravine with his friend clinging to his back, his only injury being some singed heels.
Despite this, Vuldan is terribly afraid of one thing: cats. He sees them as bad omens and avoids them at all costs; to have one follow you is to be cursed, to live with them is to be damned. The other champioins tease him about it and Vuldan in his good nature is able to laugh with them . . . given there are no cats around.
