Fears and Struggles

Nock struggles with humility and adequacy. He always needs to be the best at everything and will not settle for anything less than perfection. As a child his father placed unrealistic expectations on him, comparing Nock to others who were better than him and saying Nock wasn't good enough. Nock sets the bar unrealistically high for himself and those around him, just like his father did. He likes to boast about his skill and criticize others to make himself feel better for not meeting his own expectations.
