Darkling

The evil, corrupted spirits of Karoks infected with darkness. They wandered the land aimlessly as spirits without shape or form, waiting for thier master's prophesied return. With Scourge's resurection they grew powerful enough to create bodies of their own. They come in various shapes and sizes but they all share the same purpose; to bring about Scourge's destruction of all good in the world. They are more powerful than the monsters of @Vascilias' army and much more frightening. Some have possessed bodies of fallen soldiers and monsters and have come to be known as deadlings. They only travel by night as the sun's light burns their rotting bodies. Other more powerful darklings have been able to create bodies of concentrated malice and dark energy. The only thing that can permenantly destroy a darkling is the light of an eventide candle.
Darklings have excellent sight and hearing for being constructed from corpses. They can also smell the fear of living creatures much like a shark can smell blood. They are drawn to it with an insatiable thirst to consume its soul. The darklings feed on fear, drawing strength from the terror they instill in people.

Screech

These deadlings are quick and light on their feet, striking fast and without warning. Their small bodies make them perfect archers, able to hide in the treetops in ambush and rain arrows on the enemy below. They wear little in the way of armor, clad in simple black leather, relying on speed and surprise to destroy the enemy quickly.

Skurl

The basic infantry man of the undead army. They are better dressed, with a chestplate, helmet, shield, and broadsword. Their bodies are torn and twisted, held together purely by malice and black magic.

Ghoul

Ghouls are the better version of skurls. While not as fast or nimble, ghouls make up for it with their strength and ability to resist sunlight. Weilding long swords and claymores and clad in thick metal armor, ghouls are very difficult to kill.

Sorbin

The cavelry of Scourge's army, these monsters ride terrifying nitemares.

Nitemare

Undead creatures stitched together from pieces of large beasts. Some resemble horses, others large wolves or bears.

Wraith

These are the darklings powerful enough to conjure up bodies of their own.
