Lady Meryl, queen of Maramime , She's a faun and proud of representing the large variety of races who live within their port capital Marolk . Many of the settlements along the coast host a large variety of cultures and people who all respect her as their leader, on the other hand the large majority of inland settlements dislike her being on the throne and look to King Owen as their leader as he's a human and represents the traditional Marinian ways.
Though she is a queen married into royal leading she leads the country in contrast to King Owen who would rather tend to the gardens and talk to citizens, this works out well for them as King Owen does the speeches to the Inlanders and Lady Meryl to the coast based citizens.
