God of Death
"Tasked with an unspeakable act of his sister's death, he sought her out. He begged her to leave before it was too late, but it was in vain. Before his eyes he saw the shimmering strike of Mallo's bow and she faded in his arms." --Aicel, Tales of the Gods.

Physical Description
Obsidian is a thin bodied but healthy male. He hides his face behind a mask and a cloak, but is a distinctive figure. He wears tengu geta.
Obsidian is very pale. He has very faint grey eyes that look almost white. Aside from that his hair is black as the night and so are his wings. Obsidian has two large wings that are made up of the fabric of his cloak. When he is not using them they hang just like any other fabric.
He has a boyish face regardless of his age. His eyebrows are thin and black. He is clean shaven and has no freckles or other facial identifiers.
Obsidian always wears a mask over his face. The mask is pure white. Over his head and around his body is a long black cloak that hides his body. It causes his silhouette to appear as if he has no arms.
When he is alone he tends to shuffle his wings a lot. This can be seen as his cloak flares out and flaps before settling back down and falling into place as fabric.
Obsidian can fly with his wings, but he can also walk across water. He can also recall souls to the realm of the living, see ghosts, and freely enter and leave the afterlife.
He always wears a white full face mask and a black cloak. The cloak, which is really his wings, ends just above his ankles. On his feet he wears black socks and a pair of wooden tengu geta.
