The blade of the Lucian family passed down through their many generations, ending sometime in 7900 with Juala Lucian during the Black Trials. The blade has faded into obscurity, though it is still widely sought after as a collector's item. The blade is a design that was used by executioners for decapitations before the advent of the guillotine. Its creation was difficult for the late Dame Sylvoska Gathiyn, who worked for three months on the blade, gathering the ingredients and working the then-unorthodox metal into shape, and then silvering the weapon.
